Sandberg, Phoenix & von Gontard, P.C. Firm Culture
What sets SPvG apart from other firms is the strength, character and personality of our attorneys and staff. Our firm is made up of attorneys that have a variety of backgrounds, interests and levels of experience that help create a fun, yet professional working environment. Many SPvG members have local roots and have graduated from area schools, such as Washington University, Saint Louis University, the University of Missouri and Southern Illinois University.
Another key aspect of our firm culture is the learning environment that SPvG creates for our associates. We focus on providing our associates with all of the tools they need to accelerate their professional development. This includes ongoing training programs in the areas of business and litigation, the use of state-of-the-art technology and the creation of the SPvG Courtroom. The SPvG Courtroom offers a realistic learning environment for our attorneys, clients and witnesses to prepare for trial.
We believe that collaboration and teamwork are essential to our success. All of our attorneys, from associates to partners, have an open-door policy and are quick to offer help. Our partners are all approachable and receptive to associates' and paralegals' questions and input. At SPvG you will find a close connection between partners, associates, and administrative teams, both at work and on a social level. All members of the firm are encouraged to attend the many social and charitable events sponsored by the firm.
The firm's surroundings also help create an exceptional environment for practicing law. Our recently completed renovations boast a modern new office space that reflects the culture of the firm. SPvG's main office is located in the heart of downtown St. Louis, within walking distance of the state and federal courthouses. SPvG has a regional practice that also reaches into Illinois, where we have an office in Carbondale.
